Information & Communication Technology (ICT), Science, History, Geography, Music, Art, Design & Technology , Physical Education and other curriculum areas are covered through relevant topics.
Physical education lessons are designed to include activities to improve motor skills, balance and co-ordination. The children also benefit from the lessons by learning to listen to and take instructions, learn new words and take turns.
Developing self-help skills is an important part of the TreeHouse education. Fully equipped kitchens provide opportunities for teaching food technology as well as eating areas for older pupils.
Other life-skills teaching spaces include, a dentist’s surgery and a family bathroom. A laundry and small workshop help provide vocational and work experience as well as fulfilling their everyday uses.
