World Autism Awareness Day
Sarah Brown, wife of British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, delivers a message for World Autism Awareness Day, April 2, 2009.

A number of autism charities, including TreeHouse, are working together on activities and events surrounding World Autism Awareness Day on 02 April 2009.
The theme is "stand up for autism" and a photo gallery has been developed to mark the day. The idea is that as many people as possible upload a photo - for example of themsleves or of their son or daughter - and write a small message to show support and spread the word about World Autism Awareness Day.
It’s really simple – go to the gallery and follow instructions or have a look at messages and photos that have already been posted. It would be fantastic if everyone got involved - parents, teachers, campaigners, fundraisers, friends and relatives – so please pass this on to as many people as possible.
World Autism Awareness Day Facebook and Twitter pages have now also been set up as well as a special You Tube page. This features video clips of various celebrities “standing up for autism” - including CBeebies presenter Sarah Jane Honeywell climbing out of a cardboard box!
So do take a look and help spread the word by passing this on to as many people as possible!
