TV production company seeks young stars - exciting opportunity!
Hi everyone, this email came through from TreeHouse today, and might be of interest to some of you.
If you get involved please keep us all informed about what you're doing! : )
Here's the detail:
Love Productions is a television production company which is looking to give young people with autism and their families from around the UK the chance to come together and take part in a unique artistic project encompassing music, dance and drama to be televised on Channel 4. Working with an innovative professional theatre company, the young people will devise a brand new performance, which the cast will ultimately perform in a central London venue.
Love Productions are looking for approximately ten children and young people who are between 11 and 25 years old. Ideally they would like to feature both boys and girls and to extend this unique opportunity to young people across the Autistic spectrum.
Participants do not need to have previous experience or obvious aptitude in acting, music or dance, just a real interest and lots of enthusiasm. Love Productions also want to film the families of the young people involved if relevant, so that they can document what it is like for families to live with a child with ASD.
The project will celebrate the unique skills and talents of people with autism and Love Productions hope it will also show the reality of what it is like to live with this complex condition.
We’re looking to hear about potential cast members from parents and support workers now! Please contact the Producer, Nonie Creagh-Brown to request more information and an application form. The deadline for applications is July 5th. The production team will be considering applications on a first come, first served basis and so it is important that applications are returned as soon as possible to increase chances of making the cast.
With very many thanks.
