To coincide with the start of a new school term, TreeHouse features in the current edition of SEN Magazine with an article called Academies and autism. The piece discusses the Government's new Academies programme and how children and young people with autism must not suffer at the hands of it.

The Every Disabled Child Matters campaign has today published Making Disabled Children Matter Locally, a helpful guide for local campaigners to campaign effectively for better services for disabled children in their area.
TreeHouse has welcomed the steps the Government has taken through the Academies Act to help ensure that new Academies will work for children with special educational needs (SEN) such as autism – and will be working with the Government to ensure that commitments made are adhered to on the ground.
