David Laws MP visits TreeHouse
David Laws, Liberal Democrats MP for Yeovil and Shadow Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families, visited TreeHouse on 25 January.
Mr Laws is no stranger to TreeHouse, as he spoke at a fringe event organised by them at last year’s Liberal Democrats Party Conference in Bournemouth. He was part of a panel discussing the benefits of involving parents in shaping services for young people with autism.
Mr Laws, a former investment banker, took a tour of TreeHouse’s National Centre in north London with Chief Executive Jolanta Lasota and Headteacher Gill Bierschenk. He also met pupils and spoke to parents and staff members.
