John Brett's fundraising BBQ for TreeHouse

On Saturday 13 June 2009 John Brett held a charity BBQ for all his friends and family to raise funds for TreeHouse.

John is running the British 10k on Saturday 12 July and held this event to reach his fundraising target of £250. The afternoon was extremely well organised and lots of fun.  In addition to a BBQ, John had also arranged a quiz and raffle to keep the guests entertained. The quiz was extremely funny with questions varying from ‘Nicaragua shares its borders with two other countries, name them?’ to ‘What type of tree is that in my garden?’ as well as picture rounds and other puzzles.

Following the quiz a fantastic raffle took place with guests having the chance to win a number of incredible prizes such as a box at the Royal Albert Hall and 5 star restaurant vouchers.

By the end of the night John had doubled his fundraising target and managed to raising an amazing £500 for TreeHouse.
