Constructive Campaigning

Constructive Campaigning CoverTreeHouse has launched the publication of a new manual to help parents campaign constructively, and help to change services and provision for all children with autism in their local area. The book, written by Armorer Wason, is based on extensive interviews with parents who have campaigned over the years. To order a copy, please contact the publishers Jessica Kingsley Publishers or alternatively buy a copy through Amazon.co.uk and TreeHouse will receive a small donation.

'I was asked to be a critical reader on this book, and was delighted to be so. This is a really well written publication with the clearest explanation I have seen about influencing systems. It is written with parents of autistic children in mind, but would be equally relevant to parents of all disabled children. It should also be compulsory reading for policy makers!'

Christine Lenehan, Director of CDC

A related pucblication is Surviving the Special Educational Needs System: How to be a Velvet Bulldozer, Sandy Row, also produced by Jessica Kingsley Publishers. ISBN 1 84310 262 5.
