£250,000 Goal for Arsenal
Arsenal and TreeHouse will be working hard all season to raise £250,000 to fund the sports facilities at TreeHouse’s new National Centre for Autism Education. The new centre is already under construction and should be completed just as the Gunners are finishing their 2007/2008 season. It would be fantastic to celebrate winning the league as well as opening the doors to the new building!
The National Centre will help TreeHouse to extend its services for children with autism, nationally.
Arsenal striker Robin van Persie said; “All the players are really looking forward to doing what we can to help raise awareness and funds for this special charity. We aim to help raise £250,000 for sports facilities at TreeHouse’s new centre and really hope that this season’s partnership will achieve this.”
Manager Arsene Wenger has also given his backing to our special fundraising target: “Awareness raising and understanding of autism education is still much needed however, and this is matched with the need to raise vital funds for the new centre. We hope we can help TreeHouse on both accounts. We ask that supporters join us to show their fantastic support again this season for such a great charity.”
