On Friday 6 July 2007, locally based jazz band, the Palpitations, raised our heartbeats with a wonderful evening of mellow music at the King’s Head in Crouch End. In the process they raised £435 for TreeHouse. TreeHouse is very grateful to Graham and all the members of the band for all their support. Please visit The Palpitations website to find out about future events.

Formidale Neighbourhood Watch garden party July 2007Formidale Neighbourhood Watch

On Sunday 1 July 2007, members of the fundraising team joined local residents for a garden party fundraiser. This was a great opportunity to get to know many of our neighbours and let them know all about TreeHouse. Homemade tea and cakes were on sale, a raffle was held and a number of other activities contributed to a fun day out as well as a fantastic £560.83 being raised for TreeHouse. Our thanks to the parents who nominated TreeHouse to be the beneficiary of this event.

On Saturday 20 January 2007 the Crouch End Festival Chorus performed Tippet's The Child of our Time and Britten's Spring Symphony at the Barbican Centre in central London in support of TreeHouse.

A collection was held during the interval and after the concert to raise funds for TreeHouse and in total a fantastic £2,000 was raised. The concert was attended by over 1,000 people and we would like to thank everybody who attended for their support and generous contributions to the collection.

A special thanks to the Crouch End Festival Chorus for all their interest and support and in particular to the Chorus Committee's former Chair, Liz Sich, and Musical Director, David Temple.
