If you would like to make a gift to TreeHouse, it is possible to allow the charity to:

  • spend it wisely on any of TreeHouse’s work – unless you specify we will assume that you are happy for us to do so
  • support TreeHouse’s Ambitious about Autism appeal for the new building – please visit the Ambitious about Autism pages
  • support the general work of the school or national development work – please state which when you make your gift
  • choose a specific item or project to support – please choose from the list below

We have put together a list of items and projects that your support could fund, at a range of different levels. More information on our projects is available on request.

2. Packs of Playdoh £25 2. Resources, subscriptions and publications so that TreeHouse remains well informed about developments in the field £2,500
3. Children's dinnerware to help children learn to eat independently £50 3. Building and strengthening autism/disability alliances. TreeHouse benefits from working with a range of organisations such as Contact a Family £5,000
4. Teachers time to accompany pupils so that they are able to have worthwhile sessions joining classes at local mainstream schools £125 4. Research. To cover a range of issues in the field of autism £5,000
5. One day of an occupational therapist's time to help children learn practical everyday tasks such as hair and teeth brushing and getting changed for PE £150 5. Conferences. For TreeHouse to attend and also present at a range of relevant conferences £5,000
6. Materials for making wall-mounted displays to show off works of art £600 6. Information dissemination. A major aspect of the work at TreeHouse is to ensure that information is easliy and widely available to all who may want access. This includes via a website, newsletters and a series of information leaflets £8,000
7. Funding towards our E learning coordinator who keeps classroom staff up to date on appropriate educational software, works with speech therapists and helps pupils use portable communication aids £5,000 7. Funding to enable TreeHouse to employ a part time advice worker, to help parents of children with autism across the country to secure a school place for their child £11,000
8. Equipment for a whole new class where five pupils and five teachers are based £8,000 8. Leadership.
