Case study: Parent Support Project

Parent Support Project parent and carers at the parent's seminar 2008

TreeHouse’s Constructive Campaigning: Parent Support Project was established to help parents across England campaign with us for better autism services.

This project has attracted TreeHouse’s first grant from the Department for Education and Skills, of £220,000 over three years. This statutory funding has been augmented by a further £100,000 from a range of grant making trusts and foundations.

This consortia of funders are pooling their giving, which together will enable TreeHouse to support ten parent groups over a three year period, providing advice on campaigning techniques, telephone and face-to-face support and the opportunity to meet with and contact other parent campaigners from around the country.

TreeHouse is always looking for trust and foundation supporters, who may wish to support a significant project by joining a consortium of other funders. If you would like to discuss this further, our fundraising department would be delighted to hear from you and offer any project information that you might require. Please email the fundraising team or call them on 020 8815 5432.
