What is The People's Millions?
The People’s Millions was launched by the Big Lottery in association with ITV in 2005, to provide an opportunity for local people to have a real say in how Lottery money is spent in local communities. In the first two years 139 organisations have benefited from a total of £6,950,000. Committees in each ITV region agree a shortlist of projects and then local people vote for their favourite.
Why your votes were needed..
We need to transform the land around the National Centre for Autism Education, to create a stimulating and inspirational outdoor educational space, inhabited by native species of birds, wildlife and plants, which children with autism, their siblings and families, local children and members of the local community can explore and
How you can continuously support TreeHouse..
TreeHouse’s environmental work doesn’t stop there! The roof of the National Centre for Autism Education will be a living, ‘green’ roof, planted with sedum, which will attract wildlife, flora and fauna throughout the year. However, we still need your help in raising money for this roof. For further information please see the TreeHouse’s Raise the Roof appeal.
