What is TreeHouse School?

Children and teacher enjoying learning

TreeHouse school is a centre of specialist inclusive education for children with autism. In a warm, positive environment we create maximum opportunities for children and young people to fully participate in their communities. We have high expectations of our children and we seek to demonstrate the positive outcomes that children with autism can achieve if they benefit from intensive, specialist education.

In 2004, TreeHouse moved to its permanent site in Muswell Hill, north London. The school will expand to teach 80 pupils aged 3 – 19 years of age. TreeHouse is a multi-faith, non-denominational day school, registered with the DfES as an independent school. The school is inspected by OFSTED and has achieved Autism Accreditation annually since 2004.

Children and young people attending TreeHouse have a diagnosis of autism and a statement of special educational needs.
